Thyme ct. Linalol – Has a significant Monoterpenol (also called alcohols) and ester content. Gentle in its action, safe on skin and mucous membranes, and safe to use with children. The oil has a gentle, floral aroma. Nervous system tonic (balancing to the nervous system), immune stimulating, uterine tonic, anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, sedative. Used for healing acne and psoriasis.

Thyme ct. (chemotype) linalol contains significant monoterpenols and esters, making it safe on skin, mucous membranes and for use on children. Thyme ct. (chemotype) thymol contains significant phenols, making the oil anti-fungal, anti-infectious, and aggressive on the skin. Use in acute illness to stimulate the immune system. Ideal for colds, flu, coughs, sore throats, circulation, warming, arthritis, sciatica, and sluggish digestion. The oil has a spicy aroma. Not for use with children. Dilute well and use skin nourishing oils when using Thyme ct. thymol.
Directions for Use
Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser.
Topical: For occasional use apply 1-2 drops to body. For daily use apply diluted in a carrier oil to body.
Pets: For occasional use apply 1-2 drops to body. For daily use apply diluted in a carrier oil to body.
Cleaning: Useful as an antiviral, antifungal, and antibacterial cleanser to skin, hair or household surfaces.
Caution: Thyme can crystallize in temperatures below 20 celsius. Do not refrigerate. If crystallization occurs we recommend placing bottle in hot water bath until it returns to a liquid state. Shake before use.
Wound Blend
Ingredients4 oz Jojoba oil
8 drops Thyme linalol
6 drops Lavender
3 drops Helichrysum
3 drops Roman Chamomile
Add the four essential oils to a 4 oz bottle of Jojoba oil (or other carrier oil) and shake. Apply every 4 hours to wound.
Flu Rub (Immune Booster)
Ingredients
1 oz (2 T.) Jojoba oil
6 drops Thyme linalol
3 drops Cypress
3 drops Clove Bud
Mix Jojoba with the essential oils and apply to wrists and chest. Use twice daily while sick.
Insect Repellent
Thyme oil contains chemical properties that naturally repel insects. Place 1-2 drops on a cotton ball and place in corners of the room. While outside or gardening, place 1 drop on your wrists and neck to keep the insects away.
