Lemongrass is like that cool person you know! A little bit sweet, a little bit spicy and a whole lot of interesting. You feel better by just being around them. That is our friend Lemongrass!
Lemongrass is known for invigorating and antiseptic properties. It is great in facial toners, the astringent properties help fight acne and greasy skin. An excellent anti-depressant, Lemongrass fortifies the nervous system. A few drops of Lemongrass in a bath can soothe muscular nerves and pain.
Athlete’s Foot Gel
7 oz. Aloe Vera Gel
10 drops Lemongrass
10 drops Lemon
10 drops Tea Tree
5 drops Lavender
Add all ingredients to a bottle and blend well.
Apply to fungal affected area 4 times daily.
Insect Repellant Candle
16-20 ounce wide mouth mason jar
water
2 fresh lemon slices
2 fresh lime slices
1 sprig of rosemary
7 drops Lemongrass essential oil
3 drops Lavender essential oil
3 drops Geranium essential oil
floating candle or tea light with the metal casing removed
Place 1 sprig of rosemary in the bottom of jar. Add 2 slices of fresh lemon and 2 slices of fresh lime. Fill bottles with water and leave 1 inch of space at the top. Add the essential oils to the jar. Place the tea light candle floating on top.
Laundry Scents
10 drops Lemongrass
Add essential oil to a cotton cloth. Place the cloth in the dryer with clothes.
